Background
Published in February of 2022, Foreverland is a memoir by Heather Havrilesky. In it, Havrilesky writes about her marriage to her husband, Bill, and the ups and downs of their relationship over the course of 15 years. Havrilesky is honest and open about the challenges they have faced, such as infertility, miscarriage, and financial difficulties. But she also writes about the joys of marriage, such as the birth of their children, the love they share, and the laughter they have together.
My Thoughts
This book was heavily sought after and so I wanted to see what was so good about it. It is written from the perspective of the wife and she just whines through the whole thing. In short, I didn’t like it.
Recommendation
I didn’t care for it.
